The manicure comes first: nails shaped and shortened, cuticles pushed back and tidied rather than cut, a buff, a hand and forearm massage, and your polish. Then the deep-cleansing facial. We read your skin before choosing anything, because holiday skin behaves differently from week to week - dry and tight, or oily from daily sunscreen - and the cleanse, exfoliation and mask are picked from what we find rather than from a script.
The nails are the part you will still have on the flight home, so this pairing works best late in a trip. Metal instruments are sterilised between every client and files and buffers are single-use.
