Then the pedicure, which is the right way round: your feet have just been worked on and warmed, so the soak, heel and callus work and nail shaping all go easier, and you finish sitting up with your colour rather than face-down on a table.

Book it after a beach day rather than before one, and prefer late afternoon or early evening - going from a massage straight into strong sun wastes most of it.
